Art goes X-mas

For this exhibition, around 150 artists living in Berlin were invited by the Stiftung Starke to take part with one or two works each. Eighty-seven artists from a wide range of disciplines agreed to participate. The exhibition made some demands on the organisational talent of the foundation’s staff, as over 200 works were submitted. Visitors were offered a complete cross-section of the current Berlin art scene. Many artists known for their painting now presented photographic works, other objects and light boxes.
In any case, it was clear that photography is very much on the rise.
