Visitors to the Stiftung Starke are in for a very special artistic treat at the last event of this year. The goddess of song promises you an evening of spirituals, gospel songs and Christmas songs from the repertoire of Mahalia Jackson.
Supported only by a piano and two backing singers, the great performer sends a festive shiver through the hall of the Löwenpalais with her voice!
Get into the mood for the approaching Christmas, enjoy the hall of the Löwenpalais bathed in candlelight, and let yourself be treated to a Christmas soup during the interval.
This evening is part of the already well-known series “Almost Famous”, with which the Stiftung Starke helps young musicians gain recognition.
On the same day you will also have the opportunity to see our exhibition “Identities” (“Identitäten”).
