Young Art XII, “Sexual”

Artistic depictions of the full spectrum of sexuality

The theme of “sex” does not leave many young artists cold today either. For the next exhibition at the Stiftung Starke, guest curator Andrea Domesle, Vienna/Berlin, has brought together the most varied artistic positions, opinions, attitudes to life and, not least, media realisations by 23 artists. The range extends from re-enacted chat talk and refreshments on offer for visitors, via the installation of “various accessories”, to video, painting, drawing and sculpture. At the opening there will be a sexy DJ performance by Tina Furler and Olivia Berckemeyer.
