Berlin Files
Beyond the Naked Eye
30 April – 10 June 2023
Ladies and gentlemen,
dear friends of the Stiftung Starke,
in cooperation with BAAR Art Journey and Residency, we warmly invite you to the opening of the group exhibition
Berlin Files: Beyond the Naked Eye
on Tuesday, 16 May 2023, from 6 pm to 10 pm
Jörg Starke will give the opening speech.
We will also be celebrating spring, with bottled Heineken beer on the house while stocks last.
The works on show are by three up-and-coming artists taking part in the art journey and residency programme of BAAR - BiTHOUSE Projects.
The works of Djuneid Dulloo (Mauritius), Francisco “Totem” Perez (Chile) and Marina Rayzuki (Japan) were curated jointly by Jörg Starke and Wilhelmina Jewell Sparks.
Berlin Files: Beyond the Naked Eye invites viewers to be drawn to elements of the visual works that can be linked to their own imagination, self-exploration and sexual being. Each artist is mysterious in his or her own right, and their images are representative of the multidimensionality that lies within every artist by virtue of their cultural heritage and life experience.
For organisational reasons, we ask you to register via the following link:
The exhibition runs from 30 April to 10 June 2023
To request an artist interview or further information about the exhibition, please send an e-mail to: jewell@bithouseprojects.com
