Exhibition and Gala Concert Moon Suk

Dear friends of the arts,

Our wonderful artist Moon Suk, who is currently taking part in an Artist in Residence programme at the Kunststiftung Starke, has asked me to send out the invitation she wrote for her next exhibition.

Moon Suk is an interdisciplinary artist, like Yoko Ono and Colette, who also left their mark on the Löwenpalais. Over the past two years Moon Suk has also tended the garden of the Löwenpalais as an artistic project and created a very impressive floral work there. It is fair to say, then, that during her time here Moon Suk has made use of the whole of the Löwenpalais, in the best of company alongside other exhibitions at the Löwenpalais that have repeatedly impressed audiences across disciplines. She has also turned her studio into a total work of art and, quite often at weekends, has given a short art/aria performance from her balcony.

A big thank-you to the artist Moon Suk, who has helped to keep the Löwenpalais the place of cultural encounter that we all know and love.

Unfortunately I will not be there in person on the three festive days, but I hope we will all see each other again when our next exhibition, with young African American artists, opens in October. Of course I will also be at our annual Christmas Exhibition, which unfortunately, owing to the pandemic, had a two-year break.

Have lots of fun at the Löwenpalais, wonderful conversations and a reunion with old friends –
