Pinch me awake!
5–19 October 2013
Dear friends of the Stiftung Starke,
this Friday, 4 October 2013, we would like to introduce you to a very special artist!
MEHMET ALI UYSAL with his exhibition PINCH ME AWAKE!
Jörg Starke discovered the Turkish artist at this year’s ART BASEL in Hong Kong and was able to win him over for the exhibition Pinch me awake! at the Stiftung Starke. Having already made a name for himself in his homeland, the up-and-coming artist has also succeeded, since 2008, in exhibiting his work outside Turkey. Since then he has been on his way to establishing himself firmly on the international art market.
