Performance Preview of the Exhibition Survivors
22 February 2014
Dear friends and acquaintances,
I warmly invite you to the following event, part of the exhibition project SURVIVORS, curated by Wolfgang Petrick (Professor Emeritus, Berlin University of the Arts) at the Löwenpalais in Berlin-Grunewald. This soirée was launched on 22 February 2014 by the two performers Mia Florentine Weiss and Frédéric Krauke, in order to meet one another as Survivors in a poetic metamorphosis and to endure.
The performances will be accompanied by a one-evening exhibition of the two artists’ work, which places each in its respective context.
Dr Hans Joachim Petersen will speak.
The evening will be rounded off by a piano solo from Falk Nindel.
I look forward to a large turnout and to seeing you again.
P.S. We ask for your understanding that, during the performances, photography
and filming are reserved for the documentarians invited for this purpose.
