Exhibition for the Défilé 2001
As part of this year’s presentation, selected works by all the students can be viewed in detail in an exhibition.
The first-year students also present their historical research on the 17th century: the development of women’s clothing in Holland in the Baroque period. Nine exemplary costumes were faithfully copied and recreated at a scale of 1:2 in silhouette, proportion and materiality.
The exhibition conveys the working methods of Vivienne Westwood’s fashion class and traces a student’s path through the three years in the class.
