Charity Art Auction “Hands for Mom”
During the 70 days of this brutal war of aggression, we have suffered a severe “national trauma”: peaceful Ukrainian civilians have been injured, and cruel atrocities have been committed against them in the course of the war. The matter-of-fact acceptance of the killing and wounding of children and mothers lies beyond all imagination. In the Lviv region a fight of its very own is being waged, namely the fight “for survival”, which our doctors are bravely carrying on. Every day, the severely wounded, yet survivors nonetheless, come to them from the hotspots of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia. Dozens of women with small children lost their arms during the bombardments. Today, the mental and physical rehabilitation of Ukrainian mothers is especially important to us. Well-known Ukrainian artists have agreed to donate their works to this important project. The idea behind our auction is to collect donations for prostheses for Ukrainian mothers, so that they can continue to look after their small children!
We have works (paintings & sculptures) by numerous artists, valued from €500 to €6,000, that will be put up for auction. Please help us to spread the word about this charity art auction, “Hands for Mom”.
