With Works by Georg Schumann & Richard Strauss

The association founded in 2000 to preserve the artistic legacy of Prof. Georg Schumann (Georg Schumann Gesellschaft e.V.) has set itself the aim of saving from oblivion both the compositional work of Georg Schumann and the man himself as a figure of public life – composer, performer, organiser and teacher.
The association therefore gives financial and moral support to publications and cultural events, such as concerts and exhibitions, that are devoted to Georg Schumann’s compositional output and life’s work.
